The Adventures of Flat Stanley, Day 2

We took things up a notch today, and Flat Stanley got to witness some sword fighting! Things were getting a little intense, but Stan handled it just fine. (I'm gonna call him Stan now. It's quicker to say and type. Yay for nicknames!)

Just watching wasn't good enough for him though. He was just dying to get in on the action... so I let him bring out the broadsword.

These things are heavy... I've never gotten to work with one. I've only worked with these. Stan looks like a pro though!

He also cheered me on as I auditioned for a play today.
The Legend of Sleepy Hallow... it's a Young Company production. In other words, we perform the show for elementary school kids. Ii would be so much fun! Stan wanted pictures with the auditioners, but I told him it would be too unprofessional. Now I wish I had let him do it because he seemed a little sad. Maybe if I get callbacks, he can get a picture with them.

It's been too long since I've been in a legit play. 2 years, to be exact. College just keeps me too busy!
