Time to return to school.
Whoot.
I must admit that I miss the family BBQ's we always have on holidays. My little sister was texting me and telling me all about the homemade ice cream they were going to eat... and I could almost imagine the yummy grilled burgers... but it's okay that I am not there with them.
I have enjoyed my weekend.
I would say that homemade pizza, Baskin Robin's ice cream, no-bake cookies, popcorn, buffets, and Hawaiian Haystacks are all great 3-day weekend foods.
So I'm not complaining.
Watching the 7th and 8th Harry Potter movies was great too. I've had plenty of time to snuggle up with the hubby. And let's not forget the awesome thunderstorm we had the other night, as well as all the wonderful, cool rainy weather.
I can see color on the mountains. Soon enough, my house will smell like pumpkin cookies. My favorite month is only 4 weeks away.
All the autumn magic will burst upon us at any moment.

I love fall. I just wish that fall didn't lead into winter...yuck
ReplyDelete"I can see color on the mountains." Sounds just like a poem! I live in Atlanta, GA and that's something that I do not see at all here! I drove through Colorado this summer (from Denver to Grand Junction) and I just kept imagining what it would look like in the fall! I've got to get out to your side of the world during autumn! I know it must be absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt truly is beautiful. Hopefully you'll get to see a western America autumn someday :)
Deleteyay for September! love the fall!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day!
