I take Sundays for granted. Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to step back, breathe, spend time focused on my spirit instead of worldly things, worship, feel peace instead of stress and pressure, and enjoy this beautiful earth.
Something to add to my goals this year: stop taking Sundays for granted. It can go right along with my "no homework on Sundays" goal.
---------
One week of the semester down. I find myself craving chocolate peanut butter fudge. I don't hate the snow anymore, like I did on Wednesday - the snow and I are buddies now. Although... when Doug and I first stepped outside yesterday, we both immediately agreed that it felt like spring weather... and suddenly I became spring-hungry. But for now, the snow will do. I just have so much to be thankful for and there are so many great things in my life. Why shouldn't the snow be one of them?
Finally: please take note that before today Doug had never heard of cat nip, and he had no idea what a penthouse is. Oh, the things you can learn by playing Catch Phrase.
He doesnt know what a penthouse or catnip is?! haha! that makes me laugh :)
