I live in such a pretty place, with waterfalls just a short drive away.
Anyways.
My first real "pregnancy brain" moment happened last night.
It was past midnight.
I was hungry, and my cravings pointed me towards potato chips and my favorite creamy ranch dip from Lays.
I always keep the dip in the same little corner of the upper shelf in the fridge door.
I open the fridge.
My special dip is not in its corner.
Look through the whole fridge.
No dip.
Check the shelf again, just to make sure.
No dip.
Remember "pregnancy brain" stories about women putting keys in the fridge and butter in their purse.
Panic.
Proceed to scour the whole kitchen and even the living room to see if I left it out somewhere.
Nothing.
Check the fridge again, just in case.
Oh, look at that!
My dip IS in fact sitting in its corner, just where it always is.
I just looked straight at it a zillion times and my brain didn't register it.
Tell Doug about it the next day.
Doug laughs at me.
Now comes the task of mentally preparing myself for all the teasing that will come as the "pregnancy brain" symptom gets worse.

But at least I have a new (to me) mechanical baby to take me places, such as our impromptu early-evening drive up to Provo Canyon last night. She drives like a dream and we got quite a deal on her. And she came with two Stadium of Fire tickets, so I guess I get to see Carrie Underwood this Friday. Whoot! She's my favorite American Idol winner, I'm not gonna lie.
I'm also not gonna lie that I feel a little tacky posting car pictures all over the place. Just bloggin' for future generations here, people. This is my online journal accompanied with pictures. Meh.
Now... I just need to name her. I keep coming up empty. Suggestions?
